DACA Renewal

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) is an immigration status provided to the children of undocumented individuals who were brought to the United States as children. It offers them protection and benefits similar to a TPS, allowing them access to a work permit, a social security number, and even the option to apply for travel permits (Advance Parole).

It is necessary for DACA beneficiaries to constantly renew their work permit, which they can do up to four months before its expiration. If this permit is not renewed and a period passes without renewal, USCIS will automatically remove them from the program.
